To become a driving instructor there are three qualification test that you must pass.
Part one
This part of the qualification process comprises of two separate test. The theory test checks your knowledge of the highway code, general road safety, first aid knowledge, driving techniques and the theory of instructing a pupil. The test last 90 minutes and you must score an 85 percent mark to pass. The hazard perception part of the test consists of 14 video clips one of which will have two hazards you must score 57 points out of 75.
Part two
This part of the qualification process you must pass an advanced driving tests. You will have demonstrate a professional level of driving ability while being assessed by a DVSA examiner.
Part three
This part of the qualification process checks your instructional ability. You will be assessed by a DVSA examiner while giving a driving lesson to a learner or full licence holder.

OPTION 1 - FREE INSTRUCTOR TRAINING
Limer Driving Academy's unique instructor training programme is designed to give everybody the opportunity to train to become a driving instructor while only paying for test fees and training Licence.
OPTION 2 - Paid Instructor training
Limer Driving Academy's paid instructor course helps you with all three parts of the qualification process.
OPTION 3 - Pay as you go
Limer Driving Academy understands that you may only require help in some off the qualification process so we are here to help you on a pay as you learn basis. So if it's part one, two or three we are here to help you.
